Ti-Ratana Family Day Foods and Fun Fair 2009

19th April 2009 SMK Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur|The Family Day was held at the premises of SMK La Salle Brickfields with about 60 stalls set up. There were food, games, entertainment and non-stop fun. The food and fun fair created an opportunity to-get-together amongst all the supporters, well wishers, volunteers, donors, family members of Ti-Ratana as well as to raise funds in order to strengthen our programs, and to develop new and innovative projects to best serve the community.
 
   
Ti-Ratana Penchala Soft Launch

26th April 2009 Ti-Ratana Penchala Community Centre|The Centre opened its doors to serve the community on April 26, 2009 after years of dedication and commitment. The centre is a beautiful two-storey bungalow located in Jalan Penchala, Petaling Jaya.
 
   
Ti-Ratana Welfare Society 11th Anniversary

Desa Waterpark|The Ti-Ratana Welfare Society 11th Anniversary Charity Dinner was held at Desa Waterpark, Kuala Lumpur, on September 20, 2008. The night was filled with various entertainment programs such as lion dances, acrobatic shows, cultural and Latin dances, as well as performances by the children of Ti-Ratana.
 
   
The STAR Green Day

8th June 2008 Taman Lembah Kiara, Kuala Lumpur|Ti-Ratana Penchala Community Centre participated at The Star's Green Day Celebration on June 8, 2008 at Bukit Kiara Park by taking up a booth for fun activities to raise funds for Ti-Ratana Welfare Society. One of the activities was making personalised cards using old cards, fabrics and other materials
 
   
Ti-Ratana Penchala Dana Ceremony

20th March 2009 Ti-Ratana Penchala Community Centre|On March 20, 2009 Ti-Ratana Penchala Community Centre was opened by performing a Dana for The Most Venerable K. Sri Dhammaratana Nayaka Maha Thera, Chief Priest of Malaysia and the monks from the Buddhist Maha Vihara. Followed by a blessing ceremony. The Chairperson of the Centre, Datin Catherine Lai-Lee and the Advisor of the centre, Dato’ Tony Lee were present to witness and receive blessings from the monks.
 
   
Red Cliff Premiere Showcase for Charity

11th July 2008 GSC Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur|Ti-Ratana Penchala Community Centre received a donation of RM 88,000 for its building and set up fund from DeWitt Asia Pacific Ltd from the ticket sales of the movie premiere of The Red Cliff and the auction of the "Exclusive DeWitt calibre DW1101" timepiece. Present at the event were Movie Director, John Woo and actors Lin Chi Ling and Chang Chen. Also present was The Most Ven. K Sri Dhammaratana Maha Nayaka Thera, the Chief High Priest of Malaysia and the founder of the Ti-Ratana Welfare Organisation.
