TI-RATANA PENCHALA COMMUNITY CENTRE is an extended family member of the TI-RATANA WELFARE SOCIETY, a community centre created for the betterment of lives in the spirit of compassion to both serve and provide shelter, education and care to the underprivileged members of the community regardless of gender, age, race or creed.
In 2004, The Most Venerable Chief Dhammaratana initiated the formation of the Ti-Ratana Penchala Community Centre to those in need of support, counseling and help. After many years of hard work, from raising funds to construction, his vision became a reality in April 2009.
Ti-Ratana Penchala Community Centre is a voluntary and non-profit organization that relies on generous contributions from individual contributors, organizations and volunteers.

THE MISSION
Ti-Ratana Penchala Community Centre is a community centre where members of the public may gather for group activities, social support, public information and other purposes. It also offers support through outreach programmes to help the underpriviledge with basic needs, support and counseling.
THE PROGRAMMES
1.‘Arts for All’
Empowering women to lead full and independent lives by providing them with the avenue to enrich their lives through teaching them arts and crafts and living skills so that they can be self-sufficient.
2. ‘Triple Gem’
Propagating Buddhist teachings and values to benefit and enlighten the people.
Promoting Buddhism and are pragmatic and compassionate in providing relief to those in need.
3. ‘Meals on Wheels’
Delivering meals to the poor and homeless in urban and rural areas.
ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES
Ti-Ratana Penchala Community Centre organizes various workshops and classes from time to time to promote a healthy lifestyle in the community such as tai-chi classes, arts & crafts workshops, cane exercise, talks, etc.
