"WHY SHOULD I GIVE" by Dr Chan Kah Yein
Ven Dr K. Sri Dhammananda Lecture Series 2012 dhamma sharing by Dr Chan Kah Yein on Wednesday 16th May 2012 at the Buddhist Maha Vihara, Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur, entitled "WHY SHOULD I GIVE".
Dr Chan is a mmathematics teacher and a keen supporter of animal welfare. She has a 1st Class Honours degree, a Masters degree, and a Ph.D, in Mathematics Education, and teaches tertiary-level mathematics in a private college.
Dr Chan is on a life-long mission to promote compassion and care towards animals, and believes that compassion is a quality in humans that transcends barriers of race and religion, and that it is our compassionate nature that will bind us all as one. She is a participant of the Dhamma Speakers' Course, and hopes to share the Buddhac Dhamma with friends, as her small contribution to a happier, kinder, and more compassionater society.
